The Path Here
My path to this work began long before I formally trained in Medical Qigong.
At six years old, I became critically ill and was eventually diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver with unknown etiology. At ten, I received a liver transplant. It was an experience marked by both fear and profound resilience.
In the years that followed, I wrestled with control, perfectionism, and alcohol while striving to achieve. That determination carried me through a biology degree, a corporate career in strategy and analytics, and a fast-paced life in New York City.
From the outside, I was succeeding. Internally, my health, both physical and emotional, was deteriorating.
